Dr. Fischer is a highly experienced family physician with over five decades of dedication to patient care. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine of Midwestern University in 1969 and completed his internship at Detroit Osteopathic Hospital.
Dr. Fischer is board certified in Family Medicine by the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons (NBPAS), demonstrating his commitment to providing comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages.
Throughout his career, Dr. Fischer has shown a deep commitment to enhancing patient safety and quality of care. While practicing with Amita Health Medical Group in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, he served as President of the Medical Staff at Saint Alexius Medical Center, where he led the innovative Birth Project, supporting parents and children through the pregnancy and birth process.
